Three Evil Queens For Halloween

Halloween is the time for spooky and horrific costumes. You can let your imagination run wild and pick the darkest, most vile characters for your Halloween outfit. If, like me, you love the opportunity to dress up as a queen of scream for the night, then wearing an evil queen costume is just the thing. Here are three ideas for great evil queen outfits. I hope you find them helpful.

The first evil queen that springs into my mind is the wicked stepmother from the Snow White story. You remember the one, the vain creature who stands in front of the mirror and asks "mirror mirror on the wall who is the fairest of them all?" When the mirror says that Snow White is the fairest of them all she goes into a rage and decides to get rid of her competition by poisoning her. If we refer to the 1937 Disney animated movie "Snow White" for costume ideas, we see the queen wears a long purple robe in gothic style with a black cape which has a white stand-up collar. She has a black headdress and a gold crown. To finish off the look I would add some gothic makeup. You could make the eyes really dark and paint your lips blood red.

The second evil queen that I think of is the crazy Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland. In Disney's 1951 movie she has a pair of mad looking eyes and mouth and wears a black, red and white dress. The Queen of Hearts is round and dumpy looking, but if you want to look a little more glamorous then there are some amazingly sexy looking Queen of Heart costumes available.

The third evil queen costume that springs into my mind is the zombie prom queen. This costumes looks like a tattered black and gray ball gown. You could even make your own if you can find a black ball gown and either make it look tattered or sew pieces of material over the top to make it look tattered. Then, all you need to do is to add a tiara and full gothic zombie looking make-up.
