Therefore, where did the eight reindeer that work with Santa Claus arrive from? What’s the story, I 'd like to know. It appears that the first concept of the eight flying reindeer arises from an anonymous poem created in 1823 that is recognized today as “Twas the Night Before Christmas”.

The creator of that poem actually named the reindeer. And those labels stayed! But after the film “Miracle on 34th Street”, it was resolved that these reindeer just travel on Christmas eve.

Therefore, when did Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer make an appearance? Rudolph came along first in a book written by Robert L. May for Montgomery Wards customers’ youngsters at Christmastime in 1939.

Rudolph rescued the day for the 8 original reindeer by simply being able to light up his red nose while it was foggy on Christmas Eve, therefore Christmas presents would be delivered to all the worthy children of the earth.

The story of Rudolph is a favorite Christmas tale produced into movies, television shows, tunes, and publications. And outfits! And so a lot more. Thank heavens for all these tales which were eventually put together into the Christmas history.
