There is no point worrying about sending your child to university

Sending your child to university time has come around again and is it your turn to say goodbye until Christmas. Of course many parents are very worried about how thier child is going to cope and university and it goes without saying that yes the diet will consist of rubbish food and lots of drink. There is no need to worry about this at all as it is all very normal for a student.

There is one thing you do need to worry about at all and thhat is going to be the appearance of your child. Why do you not need to worry? The reason for this is because everyone is going to dress to thier best which means washing and ironing thier things. This can happen for the very first time and university so expect calls with tales of shrinkage of clothes and the famous “mum my clothes are all pink”.
The university will certainly have a room in which you can wash your clothes. Usually some form of commercial laundry equipment are on hand to make sure everything is washed properly. So now at least you know that laundry washing machines are there so you won’t receive a smelly child for Christmas.

The washing is certainly not going to be on your mind as you are going to be missing your child. Of course for many parents it will be the longest your child has been away from you. The siblings are going to love this as they can have more space and attention focused on them.
So your child will almost certainly be looked after at university and is going to have a very enjoyable time indeed. Although the food and drink may not be what you would want them to have at least the commercial laundry is there to make sure that at the very least, their clothes will be clean
