Putting Iron Man Back In Full Gear

Iron Man 2 had some nice moments. Moments like Iron Man and Struggle Machine ripping right into a squad of Hammer drones stored the movie just above mediocrity. The movie devoted half of length setting up next year's Avengers movie, by throwing in pointless cameos and boring plot drifts. Hopefully now though, with the Avengers film already in manufacturing, the third movie will have the ability to redeem Tony Stark and firm, giving the trilogy a fitting climax it deserves. And this is learn how to do it.

1) Preserve it simple:

The primary Iron Man film was a fun, energetic movie that introduced new life into the superhero franchise. The third film must fast paced, but retaining to as minimal plot strains as possible. Iron Man is a franchise famous for it's charisma. I don't expect the Marvel to go dark so why not return to what made the franchise so famous within the first place.

2) No pointless cameos:

If the Avengers film is going kick-start its personal new trilogy, then Marvel's single superhero tasks should return to being individual stories. While it's vital to acknowledge the shared universe within the movie, this may be executed with just one or {two} dropped identify references. I don't need to see Captain America flip up in an Tony Stark movie.

3) No extra 'man in a suit' villains

Another main thing that bored me about Iron Man 2 was the tasteless number of enemies. Despite exhibiting potential within the Monaco Grand Prix scene, Ivan Vanko (Whiplash) was no different than the primary films villain Obidiah Stane. They were each greater variations of the Iron Man suit, included to make the Amoured Avenger look towards the odds. With Joss Whedon's Avengers film introducing a few of Marvel's cosmic side into movieverse, depending on how that goes it may open the doorways for Iron Man three to introduce a more unrealistic villain. The Mandarin. For many who don't know The Mandarin is a Chinese Born scientific genius. He wields ten magical rings that grant him numerous powers. Magic vs expertise would make for one awesome battle. Seeing Tony Stark combat towards something he can't plan against or calculate would add an entire new dimension to the character.

4) New love interest

Whilst I really loved Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts within the first Iron Man movie, her character started to get a little stale within the sequel. Her constant disapproval of Tony Stark is beginning to really feel old, and for Pepper to be fascinating again, she must be extra accepting of her boss. He has saved her life three times after all. Perhaps take a leaf out of the current Invincible Iron Man comedian books and have Pepper don a swimsuit of her own. Whilst she's off doing that, Tony wants a new love interest. Whether or not it's an agent of The Mandarin, or just a informal affair, Tony wants a brand new love interest to keep the character fresh. I do not want to see Stark pining over Pepper in the third act.

So there are just a few methods to put Iron Man 3 back on track. With Captain America: The First Avenger already trying doomed, and a Thor sequel dependent on if Marvel can come up with another solo journey price doing, Iron Man three could be Marvel Studios one and solely probability at making a trilogy. Let's simply hope it is higher than the final one...
